One of the cool things about having babies is that you get to feed them. To that effect, we attempted a new food tonight. Since James' usual non-liquid fare is rice cereal mixed with formula (both of which are so iron fortified that the cumulative culinary experience is akin to licking a rice-flavored flag pole), we thought that the sweet pulp of a ripe banana would be an upgrade. We were wrong, as clearly displayed below:
In other news, we finally replaced our long departed fish "Swimmy" with a newcomer. After Rosie rejected my initial suggestion of "Fuzzy," our new fish was christened "Bruiser" for his blue and purple color scheme.
Daphne is fascinated, and has almost killed him twice in 2 hours with her keen curiosity. I can already hear the conversations we are going to have in the next few days:
"Daphne, he gets scary-ed when you look that close."
"No honey, fish don't eat beans."
"HEY! DON'T DRINK THAT!"
Thanks for checking in and love to you all,
Pete
